Senator Scott pledged to donate at least $50,000 to assist victims of Hurricane Ian. He also repurposed his campaign events that were initially scheduled to serve as a ‘fly-around’ to meet with voters and local leaders and to rally support for the upcoming midterm elections, to focus on disaster relief efforts. Beaufort and Aiken counties had over 500 attendees donate thousands of toiletries, non-perishable food items, first-aid supplies, and other necessities.
